2009 License Application Deadlines Approaching

The 2009 license application deadline is approaching quickly, for those of you wishing to apply and hunt with us in the 2009 season. The non-resident application deadlines are:

ELK:

January 1st - February 1st, 2009

DEER:

January 1st - March 15th, 2009

ANTELOPE: January 1st - March 15th, 2009

2009 Spring Black Bear Hunts!

Spring Black Bear seasons are as follows.

ARCHERY: April 15th - April 30th, 2009

FIREARM: May 1st - June 15th, 2009

Licenses can be purchased over the counter at any local grocery or sporting goods store.

December 2nd 2008 Photo Safari

The 2007-2008 winter was relentless on our mule deer herds in southern Wyoming.

We have good numbers of Mule Deer bucks, however the majority are younger bucks, 2 1/2 - 4 1/2 year old deer. As a result we are cutting the number of hunters for 2009 and possibly 2010, until we get some age on the deer.

For the 2009 Season we are taking 2 hunters on the entire property.

Antelope hunts for 2008 were 100% successful. We hunt 5 antelope areas covering more than 600 square miles.

The Archery Season begins August 15th and runs until September 19th.

The Rifle season begins September 20th

and ends October 14th.

Application Period Jan 1st-March 15th.

Seasons

Hello, hope you all had a great 2008 and and are ready for the holidays. Things are good here in Wyoming, It has been a mild fall, but winter has finally arrived.

Out West Safaris had a successful 2008 hunting season and looks forward to a great 2009 season. Thanks to all who made it possible and hope to see you in 2009.

As the new year approaches so does the Wyoming application period. its almost time!

Elk Hunts

Trophy Bull Elk hunts for 2008 were 100% successful. Elk #s are at a all time high.

The Archery Season begins September 1st and runs until September 31st.

The Rifle season begins October 11th.

and ends October 31st.

Late Season Cow opens Nov 1st - Nov30th.

Application Period Jan 1st - Jan 31st.
